The Girls Get WISE Science Summer Camp is a week-long day-camp that takes place at Mount Saint Vincent University every summer. In this camp girls have the unique opportunity to study zebrafish embryo development throughout the week. When the girls aren't in the lab studying zebrafish, they are engaged in other fun STEM activities! Participants also have the opportunity to explore STEM careers by chatting with local females working in a variety of STEM careers.

We are pleased to announce that we will be having TWO Girls Get WISE Science Summer Camps in 2017!

  • July 17-21, 2017 - This is our typical retreat for girls 12-14 years old. We had a blast at this year's camp, check out some of the pictures from the week on our facebook page!
  • Aug. 28-31, 2017 - This camp is NEW and is for girls 15-16 years old. Camp will run from 10:00am-3:00pm each day. Girls will have the opportunity to learn about research being conducted by local female researchers, participate in hands-on science activities, and chat with women about careers in STEM.
